Lockdown – My experience- ‘Amy’
It’s been a strange and difficult year for everyone since the beginning of the pandemic. Everyone has had to make lots of adjustments to their daily lives and routines.
We know that changes to normal routines can be especially difficult and challenging for autistic people. We have been capturing peoples responses to the pandemic and lockdown, both positive and negative, and looking at how it has affected autistic people in particular. We have spoken to a range of different people who each have different experiences of lockdown including an autistic person we support, a homeworker and a mother of an autistic child. As a result, we have developed several lockdown case studies as part of this series that we will be releasing over the next couple of weeks which we hope you will enjoy reading.
We have been particularly interested to find out if people have any tips they can share that may help others during these strange and often difficult times and we hope that you might find these useful!
Next up in the series is Amy.
